I spent my day today grocery shopping however I didn’t feel comfortable taking a picture of a complete stranger. However my mom gave me a gigantic bag of knitting needles yesterday and I went through them and found a stranger amount the others. I found these:
These needles are fat on one end but skinny towards the cap. I emailed my grandmother about them because I couldn’t figure them out and there didn’t seem to be anything on the internet about them. She informed me that they were used before there were circular needles. The fat part is to get the right stitch size and the skinny section holds more stitches than a regular needle. So now they are no longer a stranger to me and hopefully I can use them sometime.
